Little Fork Wildlife Area

After building of the homes was completed the developer turned over 8 acres to the homeowners for use as a park, playground, etc. or whatever was decided as  an enhancement or useful for the area.  The Mo. Dept of  Conservation  and Natural Resource Conservation Service were contacted and agreed to partner with the owners to set up what is now known as the “Little Fork Wildlife” area.  It was agreed this was  an opportunity for residents to use the area for education and recreation.  They can enjoy the Wildflowers and wetlands , the children can watch and learn about wildlife.  There is a small pond which attracts ducks, geese.  Turkey and deer have also been seen in the area.  It was designed and set up to have a place where children can play safely which makes Myrna Manor North unique as a little bit of country with a park like setting
